Duncan Lardeau Property

The lower Duncan River bordering this property is well-known for its regionally significant fisheries values.  In brief, the river supports Gerrard rainbow, Bull trout, Kokanee salmon and numerous other species.

The property along with the adjacent riparian lands provides winter and spring range for deer and elk as well as wetlands for migrant and nesting water birds, turtles, amphibians, and aquatic mammals.

Migratory birds use the property and the adjacent river and delta as a stopover and rest area.
