The British Columbia Conservation Foundation is committed to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment. Contractors are expected to meet legislated health and safety requirements and ensure the effective control of all workplace hazards.
Contractor: A person, partnership or group of persons who through an agreed contract, directs the activities of one or more workers involved in work on behalf of BCCF.
- Only allow qualified contractors to complete work on behalf of BCCF.
- Ensure a WorkSafeBC clearance letter is acquired.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements as prescribed in the Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
- Maintain good standing with WorkSafeBC.
